Went to El Matador Beach in Malibu over this long 4 day weekend. I was only able to go there for one day, but I got a lot of good stuff.
My favorite shot from the scenic group. I wanted to show the action of the water, show its motion as it splashed the rocks. I used a polarizer here.
What I did: removed some chromatic aboration, upped the vibrance and saturation, boosted the exposure on the lower half, threshold white/black/grey balance trick, slight crop down, unsharp mask (200%,0.2,0).

I'm glad you were able to go.
When I'm there, I feel like nothing else really exists. On that part of the beach, it's like there is no civilization. And I can just look out and see how big the world is from looking past those rocks to the horizon. It makes me feel since everything is out of sight, it's out of mind. And i can just truly enjoy myself.... until the cops come and they ruin it
Next you should go to the waterfall. But I recommend going there around January or maybe february. It nice ^.^
