Nice work! I was recently watching ST 2-4 for the nostalgia. I can still recite so much of those movies even though it's been 15+y since I last watched them I think. Also: One would hope that with all the tech we have nowadays, someone would put a live-acting avian character into a ST show beyond the ones in the animated Lower Decks show.

I like that you're doing these "hard-color" pieces. It gets the composition, lighting, and base colors down well. It's often a phase of my paintings too, after a rudimentary sketch at least. Then you can pour on as much detail as you want beyond that. It's a bit more like traditional painting than all the layer shuffling options we have in digital. Good stuff!

Mostly just for personal nostalgia but First Contact is probably my favorite Star Trek movie. Love how moody it is. Though the Borg was scarier before they introduced the queen.

Yeah, Star Trek has a way of creating what seem like ultimate bad guys only to dilute them down or warp-speed some brand new tech to defeat them. I suppose they really don't believe in the "no win" scenario lol.
