My longest story yet, lol. An AI/LLM transformation written for my friend Katie! This was originally just going to be a small trade story, but it kept getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger until it ended up as my longest story yet (aside from the Gala). It was a lot of fun to write! Got to work with Katie on the ideas to add things like simplification, as well some additional features in post.
I got to use my OC(?) setting, Ugö! Which is like strange, behemoth of a corp that makes TFy things for mysterious reasons. I made it around early last year for an RP that involved mecha Pokémon (which was really fun and moody) that sadly has been lost to time. But yeah! Writing this was incredibly fun, and also new OC!! Socket!! Their pronouns are They/Them, with occasional It/Its for seasoning.
The name "✨" comes from how a lot of AI companies nowadays have appropriated this emoji into a symbol for their chatbots. So I thought reclaiming it here would be silly. There's a really good video essay on the subject by David Imel.
So yeah! Gonna have one more story next month before doing a short hiatus for my finals (which will last until June I think?) so yee. Enjoy!

really love this!! i think this is the first piece of fiction in general (much less TF fiction specifically) i've seen to use LLMs' specific traits in a way that feels like it couldn't be any generic sci-fi AI, and i respect that massively. you did a GREAT job capturing the kind of generic, corporate vapidness in how LLMs "talk", i think this is the only time that "i was genuinely surprised none of this was AI-generated" would be a compliment lol.
