Diploria Unit is a team of four P2-I Merlin type sheepdogs. The P2-I frame is specialized for infiltration and spec-ops missions, and possesses the unique ability to share sensory data and communicate instantly across all platforms in the unit. This ability allows a group of Merlins to operate as if they were a single entity when hunting together, granting them their name. Diploria Unit, headed by the master AI known as Genet, is tasked with the single objective of locating and terminating all members of Wolfpack, the hit squad that the players in the TTRPG campaign are a part of. Of course, little do they know, this task will lead them to their own demise.
