Note: This isn't a full story with chapters. Think of it as a finalized draft. But I figured I get this out of my system. I hope it's written well enough to be understood, and hope you enjoy the direction this goes.

After watching Zootopia 2, I instantly fell in love with Pawbert Lynxley. I think he, as a twist villain, was executed perfectly, with his reasoning and justification just to be a true Lynxley and gain his father’s approval. It’s a sad yet believable explanation for his actions. And despite his villainous twist, he is very likable, and everyone hopes that he can turn over a new leaf. Well, that’s where I come in. I have conceptualized a full spin-off storyline that acts as the redemption arc for Pawbert. While I have made it so that it’s grounded into the universe of Zootopia, there are parts of it that goes into fanfiction territory. There are new characters, returning cast, and an interesting plot that gives the young lynx agency he never had before. The title of this spin-off story should be “Zootopia: The Unstrung Files”. The “Unstrung” part has various meanings, which will be seen throughout the acts.
The Synopsis: Two years after being sent to prison, Pawbert is released with good behavior and now has to rebuild his life from the ground up. Fortunately, he is reunited and aided by his childhood friends, along with meeting other familiar faces of Zootopia. But when Milton receives a letter addressed to Pawbert pertaining an inheritance left by his mother, with the stipulation that he takes on her maiden name, the old lynx plots to trick his son into transferring his inheritance rights over to the Lynxleys. This slowly spirals into something more, and Pawbert must make a choice; remain a Lynxley to be exploited, or become someone better.
New Characters:
Elias Uncia – A Snow Leopard with a stern, intimidating presence who doesn’t take nonsense from anyone, yet is overly protective of his close friends and family. He used to be a dangerous street racer and bouncer but now works as a Tenant & Housing Support. Has burgundy red eyes. He wears a black tank top and gray camouflage pants.
Caleb Vulpis. – A street-smart Arctic Fox who’s cunning, resourceful, and never makes a promise he can’t keep. Used to work as a dealer in the undergrounds but now works as a Non-Profit & Program Coordinator. Has Icy Blue eyes. Wears a dark blue hoodie and matching sweat pants.
Mitch Vargson – A Timber Wolf who’s loud, sarcastic, and has crazy charisma. Also, a massive Gazelle fan. He used to be part of a street gang robbing stores but now works as a Community Outreach & Engagement. Has green eyes. He wears an orange plaided shirt and dark brown pants.
Aria Vanderlyn – A lynx who was kind, graceful, and headstrong. She was Pawbert’s mother, Cattrick and Kitty’s stepmother, and Milton’s second late wife. Aria was once a singer and musician from her country (the place of origin for Vikings), as well as the only surviving heiress to her family’s legacy and wealth. Years after Pawbert was born, she died from an unknown illness, or at least that’s what was told. She had amber eyes. She wore a violet blazer with a light pink dress shirt, a black business skirt, and a flower brooch.
Ironclaw Sleuth – A group Siberian tigers that Milton hired. They work as crooked private investigators, getting dirt on certain individuals if paid generously or promised a huge pay. They’ll even act as muscles to intimidate individuals and even create false information. They all wear black track suits and shades.

New Locations:
Sleet Street – a grittier part of Tundratown, populated by low working-class citizens living in a rough environment. And yet, they created a tight-knit neighborhood thanks to the community center that offers a variety of assistance to the residents.
Lynxleys Lookout – a private vacation home that’s located in the Canal District, adjacent to the Rainforest District, and is hidden away from prying eyes. After losing their manor following their arrest and jailtime, Milton was able to use his remaining connections and legal loopholes to keep this property from being seized.
The Undergrounds – a private organization hidden underneath Tundratown, featuring various illegal crooks, thugs, brokers, and sketchy dealers, as well as an entire black market.
Pawbert’s New Outfit: Like with Nick and Judy in Zootopia 2, Pawbert would receive new clothes that represents the changes he will go through during his arc. His new outfit consist of a pair of charcoal trousers with black squared patch on the knee areas, a beige sleeveless work vest with collar and squared pockets, and a black long-sleeved V-neck under shirt. This outfit gives him a “blue-collared worker” vibe, allowing him to blend in with the neighborhood. But also moves him away from the wealthy lifestyle of the Lynxleys to one of struggles and unity. Plus, he’ll match with his friends.
Act 1 - Opening
In a flashback, a young Pawbert meet Elias, Caleb, and Mitch. Despite the lynx’s awkwardness, they took a liking to him and became fast friends. Whenever the Lynxleys left him behind, they took him to their neighborhood in the rough part of Tundratown called Sleet Street. There, they played and hung out with the local kids. Their family took a liking to the young nervous boy, and welcomed him with open arms. It was both overwhelming and exciting to the young boy. However, Milton found out and took the young lynx away, punishing him for socializing with those types of people. The trio tried to stay in Pawbert’s life but Milton made it impossible. Eventually, their friendship slowly drifted apart.
In the present day, two years after the events of Zootopia 2, Elias, Caleb and Mitch are very busy handling problems with the residents at the community center. It was hard but honest work as they’re doing their best to help many of the mammals. During a break, Elias mentions the news about the weather wall incident and the fate of the Lynxleys. Caleb has been keeping tabs on Pawbert’s release date, stating that he might get out early as stated from one of his contacts on the inside. Mitch still couldn’t wrap their heads on how a sweet lynx could commit such crimes, but then again, they haven’t been in his life long enough to understand what he was going through the guy’s head. Regardless, they still cared about their old friend and had been making various preparations.
The scene shifts to the Prederal Prison, where Pawbert was dreaming or rather reminiscing about his family. They were all sentenced to three years for their crimes. However, Milton’s connections, the few he had remaining, had given him, Cattrick and Kitty a much lighter sentence; only six months. Pawbert asked his father if he would be leaving too, to which Milton straight up tells him he’s an embarrassment and stain on their family name and was promptly disowned on the spot. They eventually left after six months, leaving Pawbert to serve his full sentence.
The lynx is suddenly woken up by lionheart, his cellmate, asking him if he was alright since he was muttering in his sleep. Lionheart has seen the state the young feline was in and kept him grounded, urging him to stay busy by doing a few jobs inside prison, which helped kept the young man’s head down and out of trouble. Just then, their cell doors open to as two prison guards walked in, accompanied by Chief Bogo himself, who informed them that they were being released on good behavior. The buffalo makes it very clear they would be on a probation period, and failure to find work and residence would lead them back to jail.
As they were being escorted out, Pawbert couldn’t help but think about his family. They wouldn’t be there when he leaves prison, and he had nobody else to go. The two felines are left standing outside the prison walls with nothing but the clothes on their backs and what little belongings they had. The large lion offered the lynx to come with him but Pawbert politely declines, appreciates his kindness. He didn’t want to be a burden despite all that the lion has done for him. Lionheart nods and wishes him well before walking away, leaving the lynx alone.
Suddenly, a car pulled up and out comes Elias, Caleb and Mitch, calling the lynx’s name. Pawbert is confused by the strangers coming up to him. But slowly, their features became recognizable. He was surprised to say the least, seeing as it has been so long since they last saw one another. There was an uncomfortable amount of awkwardness at first given their drifted relationship. But, slowly, the four began to speak and patch things up. They took him back to sleet street, explaining to Pawbert what they do at the community center, though chose to keep their past crimes to themselves. After a series of questions about what happened prior to being sent to prison, they have decided unanimously to help their friend rebuild his life. But Elias became stern. There was a clear rule; No attempting to contact the Lynxleys or reconcile with his dad, which isn’t too hard since the lynx was disowned.
Pawbert moved in with them at their apartment, where many of the trio’s families and friends welcomed him back to society, though some have been made very wary of him given his crimes. But thanks to the three speaking highly of him, they decided to give him a chance. They provided him a job at a small coffee shop, gifted him a new cell phone since his old one was disconnected, bought him new clothes from the thrift store, and made sure he met with his probation officer (which turns out to be Clawhauser of all mammals). Pawbert also worked with the trio at the community center, helping out residents with problems or issues. He begins his transition to society with a shaky start, just keeping his head down as he went through the daily grind of working and meeting with Clawhauser. Most of the time, he stayed inside his room like a hermit. He even has nightmares about his family and even his old self, reliving his horrible deeds at the weather wall control room. Its clear he was still feeling the sting of being left behind by his family whom he sacrificed everything for, as well as the weight of his actions. This worried the three, wondering of the poor guy would ever come around.
During a planned community event, Gideon Gray served pastries all around the neighborhood and ran into Pawbert. The two start off with awkward small talks but ends up having a bit in common; having both growing up with expectations and struggles in a society that looked down upon them, despite their separate upbringing and situation. Seeing how similar they were, and how they both knew Judy Hopps, they realized that they were kindred spirits in a way. Gideon pats the feline’s back and tells Pawbert that he’s doing the right thing, that change takes time but is well worth it. This small interaction gives Pawbert some hope.
Weeks after, the group decided to take their lynx friend on a little road trip. Partially for some air, but also as a surprise. They traveled through the desert dunes where Pawbert’s tent once stood. His oasis. Of course, most of his belongings were confiscated as evidence after the lynxley case blew up. But Caleb called in a favor from an old friend, Finnick, who was able to track down and reclaim a few of the vintage items. They rebuilt the tent, though much smaller than before. Pawbert was just stunned by this act of kindness. While not all of his possessions were there, it was the thought that counts. He was even more surprised to see his electric guitar in excellent condition, something he valued the most. He loved playing when he was down. Holding the instrument and stringing the cords, he felt this overwhelming feeling of gratitude.
A tiny hint of the old Pawbert, the cheerful yet awkward version they remembered, was returning. His nightmares from then on were becoming less frequent. For the first time in years, his life was looking much brighter and honest for the lynx.
Act 2 - Conflict
Deep within the Canal District, at the Lynxleys Lookout, Cattrick and Kitty were tiredly sorting through mail. Rejection letters, broke accounts, etc. Rebuilding their reputation and social standings was getting difficult given the lynxley’s century-old fraud. Milton has been cooped up in his office, making desperate calls and getting frustrated with failed ventures. They still blame Pawbert even though their brother was no longer in their lives.
Suddenly, Cattrick stumbled upon an envelope in a large pile. It was addressed to Pawbert, and was sent from Aria Vanderlyn’s lawyer’s firm. The two stared at it with confusion at the mention of their stepmother. They rushed into their father’s office, interrupting his calls. Milton asked what would be so important to barge in. They gave the envelope to Milton, who stared at it with raised brows. He opened it, revealing two papers; a handwritten letter and an official document. Milton’s late wife had set up an inheritance specifically for Pawbert. There was one stipulation required at the end: Pawbert must change his surname to his mother’s maiden name. Milton was floored. After ruining their reputation and social standings, Pawbert would be rewarded? And from his late wife no less?
Enraged but sensing an opportunity, He calls in one of his lawyers to look at the document. It was seemingly airtight; surname change requirement including an updated ID and legit signature. The Lynxleys wouldn’t be able to contest the inheritance as they weren’t Vanderlyns, and there would be no way to fake a signature. However, there was indeed a loophole; If Pawbert were to sign a disclaimer of interest, including his signature and finger print, he would forfeit and transfer his rights to the inheritance over to the Lynxleys. With this revelation in mind, Milton’s plan was clear; convince his son to sign away his rights to the inheritance. Since the boy pines for Milton’s love and acceptance, they can use that to feed him the notion that he wants his son back into the family. It’s the perfect opportunity for Pawbert to be their final scapegoat.
A few days afterwards, Elias, Caleb, Mitch, and Pawbert were out having lunch at their favorite fast-food joint, just talking about random stuff and genuinely having a good time. Mitch even took a group selfie with Pawbert’s phone and set it up as his wallpaper. Suddenly, they see a car parked at the opposite street as Milton slowly got out. The sight of his father gives Pawbert trembling paws as he walked over to them with a soft smile the young lynx had never seen before. Ignoring the trio, Milton greets the boy before apologizing to Pawbert for leaving him behind, that emotions were very high at the time, but he was prepared to offer his son a chance to return home and become a family once more. All the things Pawbert wanted to hear has come true for him. He was succumbing to his old familiar pattern of folding. But before Milton could reach out to touch his shoulder, Elias grabbed the old man’s paw and pulled it away, with the trio stepped in between the two. This act snaps Pawbert back into reality. They knew exactly how manipulative the old lynx is. And to suddenly come back for Pawbert after leaving him behind and disowning him? There were clear red flags.
Elias tells Milton that under no circumstances he is allowed to talk to him, and suggesting that he turns around and leave. Milton responds, saying they have no right to keep him from his son and that he isn’t going anywhere. Just then, a large group of mammals rallied around. The neighborhood staring daggers at the old lynxley. Fortunately, the three has explained Pawbert’s situation to the community and asked that they watch over the Lynx in case Milton or his siblings ever came around. As three figureheads of the community center, the residents had no reason not to trust them and ensures they had their backs, including Pawbert’s. Sensing a strange shift in power dynamic, Milton merely tells his son that he needs to realize where he belongs; where his true family lies. He feigns a smile before leaving in his car.
While being driven away, Milton realizes his plan won’t be that simple. Cattrick and Kitty are simply confused as to how a runt like Pawbert managed to gain such a large support group. Milton replies that he remembered the three mammals years ago as kids. Now, they were the very thing standing in their way. Still, he decided to take drastic measures. He makes a call to the Ironclaw Sleuth agency. Sketchy PI, but professional and brutal. Milton figures the three must have a past they aren’t proud of. He gives them a down payment to their services, promising more money if they do their job right.
After the interaction, Caleb, realizing there’s more to Milton’s sudden interest in Pawbert, secretly heads down to the Undergrounds. He meets up with a few contacts and explains Milton’s return and sudden interest in his disowned son. They direct him to Mr. Big and Fru Fru who, after a few days of prodding and intimidations, concludes that Pawbert has an inheritance set up by his mother. They deduce that Milton is interested in said inheritance, hence his return for his son. Caleb returns to tell his findings to Elias and Mitch, but after some back and forth, they chose not to tell Pawbert. The fear of the lynx choosing money over them weighed heavily in their hearts. They rather selfishly keep him within arm’s reach and away from money then watch him walk away once more.
Back with the Ironclaw Sleuth, they’ve spent days going through records but found nothing on the trio. They seemingly have clean records, which isn’t good for them. As they’re about to give up, they run into Duke Weaselton. He overheard their conversations and, sensing an opportunity, reveals that the arctic fox knows a Broker from the undergrounds who scrub all evidence of an individual’s past crimes, including records and recordings. It’s all still likely down there, hidden away. He even leads them to said Broker, to which the tigers manage to rough him up and gathers everything they could find. They even promised Duke a cut in the profit. Now with overwhelming evidence, Milton can finally use his newly acquired ammunition.
Scene 3 - Fallout
First, he attacked them where it hurt; the community center. He sent evidence to various agencies with “concerns” over who is representing the residence of Sleet Street. Second, He sends this evident package over to the ZPD, prompting Chief Bogo to open up an investigation. Lastly, the Siberian tigers are able to chase the trio in a car chase, keeping them separated and occupied. This allows him to finally confront Pawbert at the coffee shop without issues. Hesitant and nervous at first, Pawbert tells him he wants nothing to do with him. Milton, feigning guilt and understanding his son’s reluctance, slowly reveals his mother’s letter to him. He sets up the guise that she would’ve wanted them to reconcile and rebuild together as a family using his inheritance. But it’s all locked up behind legal jargon, and only Pawbert can bypass it by signing it over to the Lynxleys. He also drops the bomb about his friend’s past crimes, as well as how they were made aware of his inheritance and chose to keep that fact from him (he found out thanks to the broker and others). He left Pawbert his number, saying when he’s ready to simply give him a call.
After a rough day dealing with both the dangerous PIs and the neighborhood turning on them, Elias, Caleb, and Mitch rush home to find Pawbert. He explained that he has spoken with his father, much to their dismay, as he became aware of both their past crimes and the inheritance they hid from him. The four gotten into a heated argument that could be heard through the walls of the apartment. As the argument esculated, Elias aggressively states that it was for his own good, that the inheritance shouldn’t matter. But then he slips and says that Pawbert wasn’t any different from them; a criminal. Except, they never attempted to kill four mammals just for daddy’s approval. The room goes quiet. Realizing what the snow leopard said, he tried to backpedal. But Pawbert heard enough. He left saying that, clearly, they never had his best interest at heart. The three stood there looking defeated as he left for good, and right at the perfect time.
Sirens were heard as the ZPD barged into their apartment and arrested the three on the spot. As they walked out in handcuffs and placed in a police truck, they were met with stares from the residents that has once trusted them. Their social standing was destroyed, and Pawbert was gone.
Feeling resigned, the young lynx called his dad, telling him he was ready. Cattrick and Kitty picked their younger brother up in the car. During the drive to the vacation home, they saw for the first time Pawbert looking defeated, simply stare out the window in silence. They arrive back at the Lynxleys Lookout, where Milton greets them with a notary witness. He grips his son’s shoulder gently, stating he made the right choice.
Scene 4 – Turning Point
Back at the police truck, the officers were on route to the ZPD police department for questioning. In the back, the trio had their heads in their paw, wallowed in their regrets. Suddenly, the car comes to a screeching halt, followed by commotions, which confuses them. Then, the backdoor open to reveal Mr. Big, Koslov, Raymond, Kevin, Judy Hopps, and Nick Wilde. Turns out, Mr. Big informed Judy and Nick about Pawbert’s situation and Caleb’s sudden arrest. As the cuffs came off from the trio, Nick and Caleb greet one another with sly remarks. Apparently, back then, Nick took Caleb under his wing and they, along with Finnick, ran various hustles back in the day until the arctic fox left the nest after things went south with the wool rug incident. The trio explained everything to the group. It’s clear that they needed to find Pawbert and figure out what’s really going on. They had a plan but they needed to act.
First, Mitch heads to the community center and begins to broadcast a public apology to their neighborhood, explaining their intentions and remorse for what they’ve done, but asking them to trust them once more as their friend needed them. While some hesitates, they are willing to give them another chance given all they have done for Sleet Street over the years. With the community once again on their side, Nick and Elias, with the help of the residents, track down both the Siberian tigers and Duke. Of course, Duke sold them out to get away. After some rough housing by Elias, Raymond and Kevin, the PIs talk, explaining how they were paid to find dirt on the trio and keep them busy. But there was more. Milton explained to them that they would be paid more when Pawbert signs over the inheritance to the lynxleys via the disclaimer of interest. Even worse, Milton had asked them to supply him with Night Howlers, to make the boy seem unstable once the signage goes through. This would give them a reason to call the ZPD to put him down, and the Lynxley would have all the money.
Hearing this, Judy and Caleb rush back to ZPD thanks to Flash and his insane driving skills. The two barge into the chief’s office and inform Bogo on the situation with the Lynxleys. Bogo initially dismisses it at first, calling the Inheritance a civil matter, but he goes pale when he’s also informed that Milton used Illegal PIs and will also use the ZPD to send the trio to jail and get them to terminate Pawbert via the Night Howlers. When the chief asks the arctic fox why a past criminal would seek his help, Caleb explains that he can’t erase his past mistakes but can helping those who needs him. Hearing this, Bogo gives in and prepares a swat team to head for the canal district. Still, Judy realizes that the swat team might not make it in time. She promptly makes a quick call, and when Caleb asks who she’s calling, she just states it’s a trustworthy friend.
Act 5 - Climax
At the Lynxleys Lookout, Pawbert sit at the opposite side of the desk in the office. Milton lays down the disclaimer document and hands his son a pen and stamp, claiming it’s time to make things right. His notary, as well as Cattrick and Kitty, were present. With shaky hands, Pawbert slowly signs the paper and stamp his finger. Milton smiles, though internally is proud his plan is working. Just as Pawbert is about to hand over the signed paper, his phone falls from his pocket onto the floor. It turns on, revealing the wallpaper; the recent photo of him and his friends laughing. He pauses, staring at the image. He was still hurt and angry by their betrayal, and yet he also knew they were just concerned and protective of him, even if they went about it the wrong way. He quickly picks his phone back up and into his pocket, but not before secretly turning on the audio recording app, which Caleb taught him.
He began asking his father how their “relationship” would be going forward, and why the sudden interest in him. If whether or not he came back for him or for the inheritance. The questions were slowly peeling the mask off the older lynx. Cattrick and Kitty told him to just sign the paper if he wanted back into the family, since they were being very generous despite what he’s done to their family name. That’s when Pawbert finally saw it. They were never family, even now, because it didn’t matter unless it was monetarily beneficial to them. He stood up, held the disclaimer paper close to him, and refuse to give his inheritance away. Enraged by his stubbornness and defiance, Milton grabs the young lynx roughly by his arm. He threatens Pawbert with an ultimatum; give him the signed disclaimer, or die. Either way, he wins. Just like what he did with his mother.
Pawbert froze, confusion by his statement. That’s when Milton decides to lay it out. Aria never died from being sick, as they were told. Instead, Milton threatened her to sign away her assets to him. When she refused, he killed her using the Venom Injector, forging her name afterwards with the help of his lawyers. Cattrick and Kitty eyes widen with shock, clearly never knowing this truth. Pawbert, realizing that his father was a cold-blooded murderer who took his mother away, gets into a quick tussle with his old man as he scratches Milton’s face. Cattrick tries to stop them only to be shoved away. Kitty tells Pawbert to stop, that he shouldn’t die over pride. Pawbert replies that it’s not about pride or the damn money. It’s about the truth. He finally kicks Milton away as he runs over and snatches the official inheritance document from the Notary, who was terrified from the escalated fight, before running out the office.
Milton orders Cattrick and Kitty to grab the boy while he fishes inside the dresser for a particular item. The two older siblings try to reason with with their younger brother as they chase him down. But Pawbert blocks their path via statues and furniture, though fell down the stairs in the process. As Pawbert limps towards the front door to freedom, he feels a shapr prick on his shoulder. A flying syringe, filled with both purple and green liquid. He begins to collapse onto the floor as he goes into a savage state, slamming himself all over the walls while gripping his heart, dropping both papers in the process. Milton walks over and grabs the documents while kicking the distressed and mindless Pawbert down. He was injected with a fusion of the Night Howler and venom. Milton simply states how disappointed he was with him. Cattrick and Kitty look mortified as they reach the two. Pawbert’s growls grow weaker as his vision blurs. He feels as though he’s drowning in frozen waters, sinking below the deep. He sees his life flashing before his eyes, all the mistakes and regrets eating him.
Suddenly, Gary De’Snake arrives, crashes through the window, and slapping Milton away in the process. He curls around Pawbert, holding him still and checking his vitals. He quickly combines the antivenom and antidote into his pen before stabbing it straight into Pawbert’s heart and injecting it. Pawbert’s eyes widen as he comes back from the brink of death, his body trembling heavily. There’s an awkward silence as Pawbert see’s Gary’s cheerful yet concerned face. He explained got the call from Judy about the situation and was more than willing to help his friend, even predicting a situation of the drug and venom being used together. Hearing this, Pawbert pulls the snake into a heart wrenching hug as he cries, profusely thanking him and apologizing for everything; for his past deeds, for treating their friendship like it was nothing. Gary accepts it with his usual kindness and high optimism.
As Milton gets back up and is about to attack the two, the ZPD swat team bursts inside as they reprimand Milton and the others. An ambulance also arrives for Pawbert. However, before he goes to the hospital, he hands over both the documents and his phone to Judy, Nick, and Bogo, which contains the saved audio of Milton’s confession. As Milton is put into the back of a police car, still struggling and yelling, Cattrick and Kitty slowly gives a weak apology to Pawbert and swears they never knew, which he believes. They state that they’ll work with the authorities and give their statements as they’re escorted to another car.
Act 6 - Resolution
At the hospital, Bogo tells Pawbert that his testimony, inheritance and disclaimer papers, and recording should enough to put his father behind bar. He also gives his condolence to both him and his late mother. Once the case is settled, he’ll return the inheritance document to him. As he leaves, Elias, Caleb and Mitch arrive. Nick, Judy and Gary, who has been keeping Pawbert company, give the four some space. After an eerily amount of silence, the trio apologizes. Elias knows he was wrong to say what they said, even if it was true, and that they failed as his protectors. Caleb was wrong to withhold such important information, control his choices, and break his promise. Mitch tell Pawbert that the inheritance was given to him by his mom, and if it makes him happy than he should take it, since that’s all they ever wanted from him; his happiness. Pawbert replies that he doesn’t care about the money. He cared about belonging somewhere. And he found that in them, his real family. The four hug it out, forgiving one another.
A few months have passed. Pawbert got his new updated ID with his surname now Vanderlyn, effectively breaking free of the Lynxley name. And with it, the inheritance finally has been delivered to him. He received valuable items belonging to his mother, included a special lyre, a few portraits, small collections, and even a photo album of the Vanderlyn family. The money has also been delivered as a full check. Pawbert attempted to give it to his friends, who respectfully decline it. So instead, they found another use for it; they created the “Vanderlyn Foundation” for the Sleet Street community. Many mammals, including Lionheart, Gideon, Finnick, the ZPD officers, and others have contributed to this new foundation and help spread the word. Sleet Street has been slowly rebuilt into something better, with financial, medical, educational, and business opportunities. News of this has reached all over Zootopia. Bogo has even commented that the four individuals have shown real change and stepped up in ways the ZPD failed. Off camera, he had provided Pawbert with a paper stating his probation period has ended, with an approval stamp, to which Pawbert gets a big hug from Clawhauser. And while the trio’s crimes are still relevant, he decides give them a pass. News of Milton being sent to prison for his crimes along with the PI crooks was broadcast, as well as Cattrick and Kitty being shown preparing to leave Zootopia for good.
Pawbert still kept his job at the coffee shop, though looks happier than before. When his friends visited him, he mentions something important. He remembered a song his mother taught him once; an unnamed song was never written, never replicated, and had been passed down from generation to generation In Aria’s side of the family. It was said to heal the heart, cleanse the soul, and bring out the most joyous memories one forgotten. He had forgotten it beforehand. But now, with the situation settling down, it all came back to him. They asked if he’d be able to sing it for them.
Pawbert sits down and grabs a vacant guitar from the corner. He begins to stung the strings as he sings the lyrics. Halfway through, he suddenly begins to sing in a Nordic language. The Vanderlyn heritage within him is slowly coming out. The song makes the mammals at the coffee shop stop and listen. It even travels throughout sleet street, helping those remember the good times that were buried inside from all the hardship. As the song concludes and the crowd cheers, Pawbert heard a faint voice of his mother saying how proud she was of him. He cries a little before wiping his tears away and gives a big smile to his friends.

Thank you. Honestly, it's been so long since I written anything like this, even though this was more of a conceptual draft. Still took me at least a weeks and change to bounce ideas and refine it. Maybe I will eventually write chapters of this. I haven't written any fanfics since I was in high school, which was years ago. Could be fun.
