well I don't do mechanical work so much, I mean I delve into the Brakes/oil changes/ tune-ups and stuff like that, but I have a friend who is a mechanic and does amazing work very affordably! He's actually the one who built and installed the engine lol. Also you'd hafto be close to southeastern CT lol
It could be a few things causing that code to be displayed...
The EGR tube might be blocked with carbon build up. A vacuum line could be faulty, or the EGR itself isn't functioning properly. If you know where and how to remove the EGR and tube, do so and inspect it for any carbon build up in the valve or tube. If it's clear, you probably have a vacuum leak or the EGR itself is faulty.

I really like Fords in general, and I have had very good experiences with them. I hope that Ford will make Lincoln more distinct now that it has sold off its other divisions (Jaguar, Volvo, etc.). Fords are very solid cars, and I really like how the best of the technology of companies such as Volvo were brought into the mainline Ford cars making them really solid.
Well, it is good to run into someone for once who does not knock on Fords!
