decades of being apart, both spamton and tenna are still grateful they're still here... even if things are different... that hurts them the most, the changes. but there's nothing either of them can do. times just moves on...
each flutter, pause, and skip of spamton's heart is a reminder to tenna. a reminder of what things were and how things are now. he feels and listens for that pulse for nearly all of his waking hours. spamton is just grateful to feel safe in tenna's arms once more... to feel his gentle heart beat against him. that security.
