For many years, a local fox would visit our home and neighbors and became a favorite subject of mine to sketch and paint. She was always an aloof floof, and in this unusual angle I hoped to capture her relaxed demeanor. She would often stand at a distance, her back turned to us, ears swiveling, before elegantly disappearing into the rocks and trees.
