this was an idea I had like, a very very long time ago. Pyra/Cyra, two Skylanders oc's from an edgy Skylanders fanfic I did a long time ago.... In TLOS! It was brought up between a friend, can't remember how. But it was actually a suggestion someone had waaaaay back when I was streaming TLOS ANB, "modding" the two in the game, no idea how that would even work, but hey! At least I drew these two.
For the record, I've only played a new beginning, although I *own* the other two games, a close friend is trying to find her old wii so we can play it, anyways,
I struggled a bit to adapt these two, since, in their original incarnation they are wealthy monopolist, and since there isn't any form of currency that I know of in the first game, that became difficult, until I thought back to the fact that there are a lot of buildings and structures the dragons inhabit, despite the fact dragons.... Probably can't build, can they? At least, not efficiently. So.... Introducing these two.
(important reminder that I only played the first game, so if theres anything in future games that contradicts their lore pls don't tell me I want to remain spoiler free)
Pyra (blue half) who is a fire dragon, and Cyra (pink half) who is an ice dragon.... Strange, I know. In their original lore, they were fused together by magic, in this I have no idea why theyre conjoined twins, maybe it was at birth? Maybe it was magic? It's not relevant to the story. Pyra is extremely intelligent. Moreso than basically any other dragon. And Cyra is.... Well, she can play the happy, friendly face when she needs to, though she can be very scary when she needs to.
Pyra decided to prey on a less intelligent, but more capable species. Kobolds. (what type of kobold they are, dog, lizard, it doesn't matter--personally I depict them as a mix between the popular lizard variant and the historical/wow versions) who they taught hard labour to, in exchange for the protection of the dragons. Thanks to her, they were able to bring lots of innovation to the dragons. Trusted to lead the dragons, the closest they ever got to having any form of "government"
of course, when war broke out, and the Dark Master was trying to kill all of the dragons, he knew these two would be important targets to take out, but when they attempted to.... Pyra found it amusing, and managed to negotiate a deal with them, talking about how unwise it would be to eliminate someone so important to the dragons. So, their deal was forged, she aided the Dark Master in the genocide of the dragons, and in return, they both would be the exceptions to the cruelty. Ignitus is no fool of a dragon, he suspected something was up with them. And the suspicions were pointed out, that the apes somehow knew the exact layouts and weak spots of the buildings, she acquainted it to the monkeys learning patterns in the infastructure, and begged the dragons to go up with her to some distant mountains, where she will learn and create safer locations. But ignitus suspected this to be a trap, and rejected both of them, the two ended up banished.
Years later, she is completely safe up in the mountains, but mere safety wasn't enough to sate her counterpart, Cyra, who grows bored easily. Cyra likes cute things, sweet, little animals, but also has a tendency to get bored of them. And when she grows bored, she generally kills them instantly, with minimal remorse. To sate her boredom, and fulfill Pyra's own ego, a temple was built, and the mountain they stayed in was meant as an alter for the twos worship. Where they would provide protection to the kobolds, and they would, in return, worship and entertain the two.
Now, of course, Ignitus was correct, even if he never found out what happened to the two, she fully intended to lure the dragons into another trap. But, perhaps, if Ignitus found out that those two were safe, in the location she offered the dragons had gone to, I wonder if Ignitus would second guess himself, and believe these two were telling the truth the entire time?
These two are lowest of the low lol. mainly Pyra, but you wouldn't want to be in a room with either of them, some people might think its unrealistic for the Dark Master (malefor) to not betray these two afterwards, and I have two things to say to that--I apologize, again, only played the first game so I don't actually know what he's like, and two, the idea I'm going with here is that he knows these two have a lot of potential use, their ability to command, and educate, as well as their own intelligence makes them a valuable asset. Hell, they're probably an explanation for how the dark forces own buildings and structures were built. Hell, I imagine the Dark Master really wants to get rid of them, but worries they might regret it later. As for these two? They have no alignment whatsoever. They do what benefits themselves, and that only. Pyra, the negotiator, and Cyra, the happy face. Both extreme sadist.
I really hope this doesn't put any bees in anyones bonnets, or whatever--this is just for fun, I think people are pretty picky about malefor, so me, knowing nothing about them and making a character who is heavily tied to them might ruffle some feathers.
I also think the design might be a little bit, uh.... Much?
Like, the stockings, and bit of curve for a quadrupedal character might be going a tad too far, it was difficult to make a femme fatale dragoness, I'm sorry.
wanted to make an anthro version of those fuckass fire scorpions from munitions forge but went with this instead, comment lobster emoji if you want me to post the buffalo beetle standing on two legs with boobies, lol
