So this one is emotional for me. Long story short, due to a series of very unfortunate circumstances outside our control, I lost my dad in the 2000's. He didn't die or leave, we just, lost contact with eachother. He and my mother weren't married, but he was a wonderful, gentle, kind and patient soul who visited as often as he could, he wanted to be a part of my life and be as good of a father as he could be given the circumstances. He was a man who even in the nearly two decades of silence, I still idolized because of the reputation as a good, responsible, emotional but sincere man... well we found eachother last year, and I've wanted to doodle a piece of him and I in commemoration of that moment as we catch up on everything we missed out on in nearly 20 years of being apart. But in order to doodle him, he's gonna need a character, I aint drawing him as a human xD so, it was time to design Levitcus' father, and now that I have the base design down, I intend to make a personal, heartfelt, emotional piece with it. He intentionally resembles Levi because that's how genetics work, though he isn't a carbon copy because he had to inherit a few traits from his mother. Some of the traits are also just, not readily visible due to Sebach's advanced age of 330 compared to Leviticus' youth of 30-50 depending on the art piece, like how Sebach's wings have gone nearly white from their steel-grey origins, or how Sebach's horns subtly sweep downward where Levi's are straight. This also means that Levi has some balding to look forward to in his old age :( Sebach in general is also just a stockier build than his son who's both slightly shorter than, and less dense in frame than his father.
I also took this opportunity to adjust some Aurish anatomy, I've grown fond of western dragon designs lately that move the wings further back and extend the torso slightly to make room for the shoulder blades of both the forelegs and the wings, and I wanted to implement that anatomy adjustment, and plan on updating Levi's own reference soon to accommodate the anatomy change. Also totally didn't take  Ryukiri roasting Levi for a lack of a propatagium in one of her streams personally last year, totally not adding that to the wings to cope, no sir, not at all >_>
I would say Sebach is mine, but if he's a stand in for my dad, whether or not I designed him, he rightfully belongs to my dad.
