The first vessel shown in my upcoming TH: Sentience series, this is Car10 built for Heisentek's APUV program that was underway as a result of the A.A.i.C. Black Box project. The program of which was in the pursuit of creating proper, sci-fi level Artificial Intelligence constructs, and pairing them with vehicle chassis.
Car10, affectionately named 'Tenny' by the APUV lead engineer, is a custom-built, tube-frame track buggy crafted by in-house technicians. Mated to a mid-mounted, turbocharged in-line five cylinder engine, Tenny was a fairly dialed-in testing machine that pushed the very limits of how fast data could flow into the mounted construct.
Even before the addition of their active aero adjustment systems, Car10 was placing impressive lap times in the designated in-house track in the north of Heisentek's secure property in Manhattan, Kansas.
Their last viable testing session was in November of 2011.
