it uses the basics. hips, knee, shoulder and elbow.

I might be saying to much but maybe you should start out with a torso.
The torso is quite important and is made up of shoulders and Hips.
I am just drawing a chest and a trunks.
This way I am trying to give my character a more....defined feel.

Just a tip.
