Outgrowing Another Outfit
In what felt like an instant, a symphony of rips and pops filled the air, and Melon knew his outfit had finally lost its long struggle to stay intact.
His belt buckle exploded, allowing his gut to lurch forward with a loud, heavy slosh. In an instant, the buttons on his tight shirt popped apart and flew across the room. Even some of the seams upon his tight pants had burst, revealing the soft, green flab beneath.
It wasn't exactly new for the lizard, of course. At his size, and especially with his appetite, he'd gone through several outfits before, but not quite like this, with his outfit failing all at once.
