The pressure behind his eyes is agonizing as his eyes are forced to the sides of his head, shutting them tightly in anticipation. With one final, deafening CRACK, his jaw unhinges and his nose pulls itself forward into a powerful snout.
Finally, silence--his eyelids peel back. What once was human behind those eyes only remain two vertical obsidian slits within glaring amber. He shifts his weight, one taloned foot on the floor and the other on the bed, his stance no longer seeking the comfort of his bed. He had been overwritten.
