We're here again with the annual celebration of the National Panda Day, this time, for 2026. And a lot of Panda are here to celebrate it as big as they are. As my part to celebrate our favorite black/white bears commemoration, I decided to get a commission involving eight of my favorite pandas, interacting with each other and showing everyone what makes them so special.

Here's the story.-
With the National Giant Panda Day coming this year, a mysterious host decided to throw a big party to celebrate this occasion. And to make the celebration more spicy, this host invited diverse pandas from a variety of universes. The eights pandas that joined this year's panda day celebration are.-
Pangoro (Pokemon)
Alp (Tokyo Afterschool Summoners)
Po (Kung Fu Panda)
Genma Saotome (Ranma 1/2)
Pan Yinhu (Zenless Zone Zero)
Chen Stormstout (Warcraft - Mists of Pandaria)
Pandamon (Digimon BeatBreak)
Gouhin (Beastars)
Quite the cast this year, right?

Once the party starts and all of them has some conversations, they discover that each of them has more in common than they think, and I’m not referring only to their weights and/or their appetites.

While the kitchen is running out of food (because the giant appetites all the pandas has), Pan Yinhu and Po decide to supply the situation by improvising a cooking method that doesn’t require pans,casseroles or other metallic culinary instruments. Both exchange recipes and use their own deep navels to cook the meals using boiling oil. If you’re wondering how both can cook and stand boiling oil inside their belly buttons without getting third-degree burns in their skins is because of Po's Chi sharing. Through their high-five, Po shares his Chi and some degree of this ability to Pan Yinhu, so they can cook their respective exchanged recipes. While Po is cooking meat and fish, Pan Yinhu is cooking dumplings and noodles, and both will be sure there’s enough for everyone.

Up Pan Yinhu, there’s Alp and Pangoro hanging each other, after an exhaustive sumo training both had together. Both proudly give a friendly handshake, establishing their friendly rivalry and a possible team-up in future sumo team tournaments, both together not only as friends, but as brothers as well. Pangoro gifted Alp a lot of goodies, so he can always be prepared for any sumo fight; a yellow mawashi made from Alp’s Halloween Police Shirt’s fabric (with the badges included) and a bamboo leaf to use inside his navel. The reason is that, in the same way Pangoro can feel everything in the environment with the leaf on his mouth, he can actually do the same if the leaf is inside his belly button. He taught Alp to do the same, and after that, Alp’s sumo improved a lot. Both can feel the connection between them, and happily wait for the huge meal they’re also to enjoy. Alp shows the culinary appreciation by rubbing Pan Yinhu’s head. At Pangoro’s right, there’s Chen Stormstout celebrating their union by joining them with one of his famous brew celebrations. He prepared his best beer using his alchemist knowledge, and tested it himself, so he can share it with his other panda friends, while hugging Pangoro so lovely. Maybe he’ll join Pangoro and Alp’s sumo practice later.

Up Po, there’s Pandamon hanging with Gouhin and testing strengths. After a talk, they realised both are good fighters and have a strong competitive spirit. So, they decide to test their abilities with friendly arm wrestling. Gouhin may have the will and the muscles to prove his point, but Pandamon will not give him an easy fight, considering his strong spirit and a strong link with his partner’s e-pulse.However, Genma Saotome (cosplaying as “Da Pan” from Arknights) watched their arm wrestling, and decide to make things interesting, by doing a bet. Whoever wins, will get some juicy cash from Genma. Wonder if Genma only did that to spice things up between Gouhin and Pandamon.

And that’s how these eight awesome Pandas are celebrating Panda Day together. I wonder if they’ll be available for next year’s celebration. What other Pandas would you include in future celebration?
