i find the blur detail in the background to be quite tasteful. i love this, it makes me sort of happy/joyous. it seems whimsical to me, hehe.

I just use my iPhone camera for the pics. The out of focus can be good at times and I have gotten advice to use the out of focus thing when I was in trade school.

The focusing is due to the aperture on cameras. Like a pupil expanding or contracting. the smaller the hole, the more you can see a greater field of view/range; the larger the hole, it has a smaller field of range.

When changing the aperture, you also need to be conscious about the shutter speed, and ISO (sensitivity to light; the iso refers to film camera technology).

Its okay if you do not find this information to be useful, but I find it to be unique. I think about these things often, especially in phone cameras too. I like when camera apps on phones are able to take manual/"pro" modes of photography, which allow you to set each parameter manually. it reminds me of crafting a painting, or weaving music like tapestry

(also cool u went to trade school ! i wonder if i could find a trade that may work for me.)
