two page style test for Wolves of Danu! Just to see how it feels.

If you recognize this sequence, it's because we did this same test already over a year ago--right after coming off Woven. I'm actually kinda glad that our burnout kept us off the project at the time, because they style we were test driving back then was not very suitable for the kinda story we want to tell.

Fast forward to today, and we're definitely feeling better about this one! Not only does it suit the victorian vibes a lot more [the previous version had a very stark "film noir" kind of feel that was too contemporary imo], but it's also just the most fun I've had drawing comic panels in a long, long time. Like--hell yeah, I can draw 3 whole books like this, let's goooo!!(๑•̀ㅂ•́)و ̑̑
