For an au where Osmosians don't actually look like rubber forehead aliens in their true form but are shapeshifters who default to look like what their ancestors primarily preyed on/what they grew up around. Kevin as a part human hybrid does look very human-y by default. The fuckery that the Omnitrix does to Kevin in this au with this form brings out more of his Osmosian ancestry which also is the reason for the better shapeshifting in this form.
