I didn't pick up on it the first time, but I notice they didn't seem to have the plague. Even if her dark pact is still good, I guess that won't matter much if there are no demons left to protect her from the people she put in jail (which all just conveniently got released )
since I read the earlier chapters not featured here, I'm wondering how much the treck to Esperanza speeds up the detrimental effects of the plague, the fierce sun combined with the long distance made it seem like the fatal effects seemed much more acute.

If you look at everyone in the prison, they all have purple extremities, it seems the American Plague has infected everyone in the prison to some degree. If I had to guess it’s likely some form of cyanosis, which means it’s slowly effecting their lungs, probably like tuberculosis or pneumonia.
Great job with this comic page. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the last comic page. But I hope that Rhino and a few of the other inmates get help with the disease that's affecting them before it's too late. Also, for the one who fixed everything, I hope they make it to Esperanza with their family and the contract demon keeping them alive because even they deserve a happy ending.
