I think I know who you're talking about, though honestly the skull thing is fairly popular. Especially with the Aztecs and their mythology. The deity Mictlantecuhtl, another one of their death gods (Xolotl being one that is a dog), that is essentially deity with a skull face. Although, as much as I'd love to talk about the subject, I don't want to talk your head off about it! Just wanted to note where my inspiration came from. I've been reading up on Aztec mythology for awhile, thus came this coydog XD

Hrmm I might not be able to keep up a fluent conversation in that area but it's cool to hear a little about the origins of the inspiration and such for the drawing, still a neat character design :3
