I haven't got anything to post atm, and I've been sitting on this for a while, so why not?
Remember the small purple species from this Starfrog piece from way back? https://www.furaffinity.net/view/31093935/
Apparently they have a fanbase big enough to warrant a reference, so here you go!
I don't have much background lore on them. They tend to torment anyone silly enough to come over into their territory. I'm certain there are other Dodlil's that look similar but wear totally different clothing, but this one in particular has the blue shirt. Let's hope the different clans don't hate each other.

I was REALLY hoping that wouldn't be the answer and you had some actual anatomical lore reason, but... I suppose this is a fetish account, and I do have a personal rule to try and keep serious stuff separate from kinky stuff. Still, at least something like it being because it helps distribute weight or let them adjust their height easily by going on their tip-toes would have been interesting.
