Ortello the Balloon Orca - Tormented
Warning, Ortello has been updated and this picture is out of date.
In his many years of capture Ortello was under constant mental stress, his fragile rubber skin easely punctured and he knew it, one little prick and it would be all over for him.
His captors knew this, and for their sick pleasure they threathened him, forced him near sharp objects and even burst plain ol' party balloons in his presense, only to demoralise and torment the balloon orca in working in their kitchens.
The only thing he found confort in was his sleep time, and even those were often disturbed by the captors...nothing they wouldn't do...except bursting the orca.
Sometimes he wished to end it himself, but never daring to, affraid that it would hurt...only having a spatula he took from the kitchen...thats all he had.
The story has a happy ending, He's managed to escape and now has a mate, been treated so even if he bursts he'll reform and even managed to get a job as a cook...but sometimes, in his nightmares he comes back to this...curled up in a corner and clutching to all he has hoping things will work out in the end.
