In 2002 we took a trip to Ireland and did the usual tourist stuff. Here is the glass cutting department of the old Waterford Crystal factory, Kilbarry.

The craftsman was very good natured about me snapping a picture here, I had waited until be had paused and didn't have the workpiece in contact with the wheel.

The Kilbarry factory closed in 2009 and it's unlikely this one will ever reopen.

It appears this property is well secured as I can't find anyone who's UE'd the abandoned facility.
