We moved further east of the road, in the Nothingness region, which lived up to its name rather well. Just empty rock, & sand. Not the ideal place to go, but at least this area with all the echos should hopefully deter any Cultists from pursuing us.

Lily helped me out of my armor to look for any wounds, and I certainly picked up a few in the battle. Lots of cuts, bruising, but what was most concerning was my left arm.

The black scars were getting longer. Before they were up to my elbow, but now it was almost to my shoulder. And to top it all off, it was glowing.

Channeling the energy cannon's energy through myself must have caused this, but does it have lasting effects? I don't know, but I can tell my power is not... normal. It feels unstable.

Maybe its just from the overexertion, as I've never used that much power at once before. But given the scar, I am not so sure. And Lily seems to agree with me, and urges me to take it easy.

I'd love to after everything today, but that's not a luxury that either of us can afford.
