Decided to try some new plant peril and make a pitcher plant, which I don’t think I’ve done before.
This jumbo sized pitcher plant lures in human males with incredibly intense pheromones. Its nectar is incredibly thick and slimy, a similar consistency to tar. Once prey slips in through the top and gets stuck in the slime, escape becomes impossible.
The prey will struggle and squirm, causing them to coat themselves in the sticky nectar even further until eventually they submerge.

However I will still write stories and imply some element of danger or peril because I know there’s a much larger audience that enjoys when things go that way, so I will often write ambiguously or leave things open ended so it can be interpreted however the reader prefers as a way to let everyone enjoy my art in the way that suits them best. But officially it should always be assumed that the plants will have some way to keep their prey alive, or some rescuer will stumble by at the last minute to pull a guy out of the quicksand or from a
