Went ahead and used some new markers I bought. Really like the outcome, though the markers are shiny on the paper I use, which is oil and acrylic paper.
I didn't color in the eye on purpose, since trying to erase the pencil would've caused smearing. Oh well, it looks good anyway (I should invest in a whiteout marker ;-;).
