Originally released as "冒険マックス キチキ" (Bōken Makkusu Chikichiki) in JP, this late arrival to the third-generation Encom console is a curious hybrid racing game and role-playing game. After some sort of world-wide disaster, a band of ragtag misfits patrol a bizarre wasteland searching for "Lord Zarudo" and to accomplish a variety of quests. The localization team is uncredited. Also, sometime during the process, the encounter-rate was increased and all drop-rates were decreased, presumably to combat the rental market.

Despite the English-language manual claiming that the player can use a light-gun for the racing sequences, it's not actually supported ... but a light-gun can be used during the role-playing game battles to select menu options, using undocumented op-codes in the Encom's GPU for the mouse peripheral that was never made available in NA or EU regions.

A forgettable game, mostly notable as the debut of Future Brain's breakout mascot characters Wanpaku Joe (localized as "Joe Harshman") and Jībī Eichikēmu (localized as "Gigi Lee"), who would eventually star in their own line of manga and pachi slots.
