For a long time, I've wanted to create a "body language" of sorts for Ara, or more precisely, emotions. I really like studying the body language of horses: the way their ears move, how their bodies tense up. And so this became the inspiration for Ara: feelings are expressed through the position of the ears and tension of the body as a whole. Since I express emotions non-verbally.
Anger or irritation:
- the muscles of the neck and muzzle are tense;
- the ears and feathers are pressed against the neck;
- the nostrils are flared;
- the fur on the withers is bristled.
Serene: the muscles, feathers, and ears are relaxed; the fur lies flat.
