Fidenza grew up in Rome with a wealthy family that took care of her. However not everything was normal for her. As when she was born, her right paw wasn’t developed, and she had a malformed left paw. Throughout the years the deformed paw became worse and so at a young age, she had it amputated, leaving her without both her lower legs.

She wasn’t deterred however from seeking her dream which was being an athlete. Thanks to the help of running blades she was able to live out her dream, becoming one of the best disabled runners in Italy.

Eventually receiving a scholarship to travel to the US and train with some of the best, going along side her new friend Heather, they both traveled state side to seek their goals and make a name for themselves.

A shame however that Fidenza isn’t that fluent in English.
