Standard Day 188, Standard Year 19,868

While I have before seen these, these interviews with Astrographica, I have seen few reasons for such. So, you may imagine my surprise to find them communicating with my ship, the Arkelios Just, and to me and my ship's AI, Jihye, to want one of their famous "In your own words".

So, me. I am Mara Nadeilu, lion Rianth, daughter of Sofiye and Bukeh Nadeilu, granddaughter of Apele and Stephen Nadeilu, with further ancestry from close to the Old Core, the Nekhebet to be precise, and a later ancestry from the Luahn Protectorate. It has taken me one hundred fifty years and a lot of work, but I have come away from my terms of service and inherited my ship. Like all of her kind, she needs just me and Jihye to operate, though she can take three more sitting her bridge, and another four or five throughout the rest of her.

Jihye has been my constant companion throughout this, and she opted to remain the ship's AI after her service contract expired. Now, she and I freelance, wherever someone needs the help of a bleeding-edge starship late of the Protectorate. I suppose, then, that like many Astrographica interviews, I am an adventurer these days, though I don't feel a lot like those folk interviewed often previous.

With the pulse drive and other things "under the hood" as the Old Core sorts like to say, the Arkelios Just is fast and sure, well-armed and capable. Here, in one of her holds, I stand, looking over one of the drone snubfighters (oh, yes, they can take a pilot, and I've flown them often) and a shield generator emplacement, meant to deploy via foldgate planetside. There's more, but I fear I cannot show anyone. Oaths and contracts, you understand. Good.
