On an exploration trip in the ocean one day, Nasir and Nox end up captured, and things just keep getting worse and worse for them as they shipwreck on a strange island...


Figured it'd be fun to write a story heavily based on the first half hour or so of my second favorite game of all time, and it's entirely from memory too! Can you recognize it?

If you're curious, I believe I only got 17 things wrong that couldn't be explained as them just not noticing something that wouldn't be obvious. Well, technically 19, but two were intentional.

Fun fact: "Shadeling" is what I was originally going to call umbrakin, but someone had already been using it a fair bit. "Umbrakin" was also already used (For a closed species), but the last with one was almost a decade ago and mine are very clearly different.
