That was 1066, but yes, axes like that were used in Hastings, in fact it's not accurate for me to use this kind of axe, because i'm from 550-600. In that period they didn't use daneaxes (the archeologists don't find daneaxes of the VI century) But i like that weapon, because it's usefull, flexibel and breaks the motivation of the enemys^^
