Most of the time when I'm doing sketchpages I will try to get a several medium shot views of the character along with at least one full body pose, but sometimes it's fun to just go to town with expressions only. At this point I've done so many expressions for Gloria that I wonder if I'm repeating myself, but each effort hopefully works to fit into some kind of specific storytelling moment. Way back when I was a teenager and first started drawing character faces like this a friend commented that a psychiatrist would have fun interpreting what all this might say about my interior personality, and I remember that statement every now and then when I consider how much I enjoy drawing sarcastic, angry faces.
