This is an older picture I made a while ago. I actually uploaded it to my Armundy account, with Eitha’s face altered so she looked more human. I wasn’t ready so show off my world yet, so I ultimately took it down.
Here we see Eitha in a genetics lab. There are several growth pods with embryonic creatures around her. She’s linked with the computer, receiving information through the tendril, which is why she looks like she’s staring off into space and there’s no computer screen. Eitha holds an ampule of genetic material. While it’s not shown, there would be a port on the console there to insert it into.
Beside her is a Sypho, a siphonophore like alien that has adapted to live in the atmosphere instead of the sea, but is still just as unintelligent as the average jellyfish. Syphos have been domesticated so they can be used like robotic servants. The sypho have such a simple nervous system they’re essentially mindless, which allows the Proteus and simuls to control the sypho in the link. They can either remote control their movements precisely or give them simple programmed commands.
The room she’s in and the base of the growth pods are good examples of vetch architecture.
