I finally bit the bullet and did it. Introducing Ark and Bro Stiener, two space mercenaries seeking a fortune so they could survive in a harsh galaxy...and help overthrow the occupation on their home world, currently oppressing and enslaving their kind. Managing to escape a prison run by their oppressors and sworn enemies, the two brothers bluff their way into being mercenaries for hire. The only problem with that is, they're kids. Who's going to take them seriously? Well, when they get themselves a ship and some rather nasty weapons, they get a little attention, not to mention some high paying clients.

Now, Ark has a pretty normal name for his kind (Arkhid), but when his parents named his little brother Bro, they thought it would be a clever way to form a bond between the two. The plan didn't really work, early on. But, when the two were taken from their parents and put in a holding facility, they had no choice but to form that bond. Even so, the two still pick fun at one another and have the occasional argument (mostly over what they should spend their money on). In this particular picture, the two brothers are checking out the halls of a crashed space craft. Their aim was to try and find some salvageable parts they could add to their own ship. Inside, Bro notices something that he thinks warrants the attention of Ark. I'll let you speculate as to what it could be. Otherwise, let me know what you think of these two. They are my own characters and I'm still developing their story.
