Honrin Info:
•Honrin are reptilian like creatures w enlarged overgrown spines on certain parts of their bodies. (short tailed ones can even fly w theirs)
• Honrin are rather small, ranging between 2ft and 3ft in height from head to foot, which is why they aren't any kind of predators.
• Three types, easily told apart by their tail lengths.
• There are two variants; Amphibious and Flight.
• There is also a few rare traits for the Honrin, including the 'Spider Tail Toy', and a 'Flightless Bird'.
• Short tailed Honrin are the skinniest of the three, and are between the other two in size, they rely on their speed and size to confuse their predators.
• Medium tailed Honrin are the tallest and bulkiest of the three, relying on their brute force and spines/quills to cripple their predators.
• Long tailed Honrin are the smallest in size of the three, they rely on their muscular tails to trap and constrict their predators.
• The species live in packs of atleast three, one of each variation, though they prefer larger pacts if possible, up to 9, with more of the medium tailed ones if they're lucky.
• Honrin are tactics geniuses, using great plans of teamwork to fend off predators.
• their tails makes them a great food source for many, so they are attacked quite often by many, but are a main target by one predator especially. Iantis are v fond of their flavour.
• One of the main strategies Honrin use against predators is to have a medium tail attack and distract, then a long tail will ambush it and constrict it with their tail, and lastly a short tail will daze the predator with it's blindingly fast attacks. They usually will try to kill their predator if they can because it means it can't come back to try again, but if they can't harm it well enough, this strategy is best for escaping while the predator is confused.
• Medium tails are very protective of any short or long tailed Honrin, and act like big brothers to all of them(female and male alike).
• Long tails are very cuddly and will create a bed with their tail for them and those closest to them to sleep on.
• Short tails are often bratty and needy, and always have a short fuse.
• Duller colours are rarer, they usually come in poisonous colourations to deter most predators.
• Honrin are nocturnal so they can be sure to be aware of any oncoming threats.
• Long tails use their tail like snakes for movement, holding onto the base of their tail to keep off the ground, so they actually move a lot faster and easier than would be expected with such a long tail.
• Honrin eat fruits, vegitation, and seeds, though they will scavenge for eggs or dead bugs if food is scarce.
• They live in desertous environments mainly, though they also come in an amphibious mutation. It is assumed that some had managed to flee to far and found their way into a swamp and we're forced to adapt to survive.
• Females and males look almost exactly the same aside from genitalia, but females have longer fangs and an extra scale spines on their tail.
• During mating season, females are shared among the males to insure reproduction, though they still have social partnerships, and are always omnisexual when I comes to their relationships. It is even common for them to have a relationship with creatures from other species.
•Honrins are demons, n cuz of their survivalist nature they're rank is at 1, tho they're not used/abused like Deyemin, just occasionally hunted by Iantis, tho some like keeping em as house pets, mostly the demons unallowed to keep Deyemin.
