White Beach is experiencing dangerous Stormy Weather! No flying or swimming allowed!
Hey everyone! ^vv^/
It's been a little while, sorry about that! As I mentioned before, I moved house! >vv< Now that I'm settled back in, it's time to continue the journey :3 This last week I've been poking at some more V2.5 things as well as some Chapter 3 monster spritework. Zeocin's been working hard with me, making a new song you'll hear in two of the quests coming in V2.5! It's almost ready for release >vv<
A new feature: Event Quests is coming to Monster Mystery in V2.5. They're goofy weird quests that'll have you explore different versions of locales you've seen before as well as some new ones. They don't allow you to do story (key/urgent) quests or subquests during them, but they do offer unique rewards and experiences ^vv^ I'm hoping they'll be a fun checklist for you to do while you wait for Chapter 3, with more Event Quests planned going forward of course :3 Some of these are silly and some are just downright terrifyingly challenging! Good luuuck :3
In addition to that, V2.5 currently has 31 bug fixes (some very major ones) (also SORRY, YOUR MYSTERY CHARMS HAVE BEEN DISAPPEARING FROM YOUR STORAGE Xvvx; patch coming with 2.5)
and a whole bunch of tweaks to things like AI, bonuses from Combo Effects and Genes, and some QoL stuff! Of course, there's a few additions like 2 monsters (one is a flagship I know a few people have wanted for a while... >vv>), 5 weather conditions (one for each element), a locale that'll be around for events for now but will be an extra locale in Chapter 3, multiple new trap types, genes, and skills!
Anyway, yeah, a lot of stuff! No new story stuff for V2.5 (won't be until V3.0 onwards when Chapter 3 comes out), but I hope you enjoy the new stuff when it's released... soon!
