My favorite.
If I painted fur portraits this way, who would bite?

love the expressiveness in this... I draw pretty rough myself sometimes, but this kind of rougness is just awesome :) I've never really liked very smooth works, shows too little of the artist's personality imho... the purple on the skin works very nicely as well, contrasty colour to the yellow, well done!
Oh gosh, I'm overwhelmingly flattered... It's quite difficult to achieve the life I strive for in my traditionals, so I'm ecstatic to know that I'm finally starting to make the leap. And coming from you! I remember being so grateful to have someone so skilled watch me all those years ago. Thank you so much.
Pfff I'm harly more skilled than you :3 I experiment too little, I know I should do more..
I like watching people like you on FA because you do more than just "furry"-art... it shows that you have a much opener view about the world than just this fandom, and it shows that you want to express more than just drawing a "pretty" picture. I see too many copies on FA (and even DA) today, people who draw exactely like one-another and can't change because people demand more of the same.. it limits their creativity.
I think being an artist is more something defined by your view on the world, than your medium of choice. If you have a small and unchallending view, you might be an artist, but you would still have -lots- to learn, both about art itself and the world around you.
I can see you grasp that concept more than most here online, so the praise it well deserved. You might not get a whole load of feedback, but that doesn't mean your art is any less good than most "popular" works (popular for a reason, usually >_>). The online community often cares more about a "pretty" picture than an experimental and freely made piece... but what do they know about art? ;)
good luck and keep on trying!
