David Vasiliev is the younger brother of Nairak Vasiliev and the son of Yuri Nazu and Haruno Vasiliev. Born in 1955, he lived through the 1962 coup d'état at the age of seven; while his brother Nairak led the coup, David remained a spectator. His role grew significantly with the onset of the Second Eurasian War in 1984. He joined as a spy and counterintelligence officer against the Diamantines in 1985, discovering military bases and camps near Eastern Europe, which accelerated the bombing of those Diamantine locations.
Despite never having handled a weapon, his personality remained optimistic—a cheerful person in the midst of tragedy, in contrast to his older brother Nairak, who was autistic and calculating. Despite everything, David never felt a calling to be the Vasiliev family lawyer, but he did inherit a close imperial connection to the Cyron-Romanov Royal Family, especially with Kristel and Sebas Tai-On. He defended Sebas's desire to fight against the stubbornness of the Humbolt brothers (when they also worked as intelligence officers in 1986) and faithfully believed that the war would end with Lin Showa, despite the difficulties.
