...and no thanks to Amazon. -.-;

I checked up on this again Monday since I knew the date I had read about that the box set was supposed to drop on was approaching, but Amazon still had Jan 10th 2012 listed. So I scoured deeper, as I have before, and learned that not only were they already shipping and in stores, but that they started said sales on the 22nd of this month. So I asked Amazon what the hell was up... and predictably, they gave a rather pathetic response which included an even later than Jan 10th date for when they'd send it.

So I went to work elsewhere. Lucked out with Barnes and Noble, who were selling it for almost approximately the same price listed on Amazon, only maybe 60 cents higher. They had free 24 hour shipping too. I wound up paying about $5 more in total than I would have at Amazon due to fucking Taxes, but the deed was done. This package arrived in my paws yesterday afternoon, just as it was promised to. Thanks B&N, you're awesome for once.

Meanwhile, only just yesterday afternoon, after I'd already made my B&N order the day prior, did Amazon finally change their release date.... to Sept 13th 2011. But I don't care. I wouldn't have waited that long either, not after all the trouble they caused me for this.

But regardless, it's in my paws now... and I am a happy mousie. =3
