After stopping Raatra from destroying the Galactic Federation and sustaining major injuries, Ace's body began to levitate and disappear before the medics or anyone else could reach him. This left everyone in the damaged generator room flabbergasted, but Benstar knew exactly what had happened, and he was dreading it.

On the other side of the galaxy, Ace reappeared in the temple where his mother, Odette, resides. She directed her helpers to take Ace to the healing chambers to tend to his wounds. What she didn't realize was that her intervention might have caused more harm than good. Nobody really knew about Benstar and Odette having a relationship that led to the birth of their son and daughter. Now, with the events that took place in the generator and practically everyone witnessing Ace's abnormal abilities, it was only a matter of time before they figured out who Ace's mother really was.

That night, when Odette entered the room to check on her son, who was fast asleep with half of his head bandaged, her husband, Benstar, came in looking worried and infuriated. He was compelled to reveal the truth about Ace's past, informing Odette that he was married and had children. This was particularly dangerous, considering that everyone in the galaxy would now want Ace for his powers and seek to use him as a weapon. With the Federation aware of Ace now, they would likely pursue the same intentions, which left Odette and Benstar worried about what to do regarding their son. For the moment, they decided to let him rest and heal before taking any further action.

As they left the room, Ace, who they thought was fast asleep, was actually wide awake and listening to the whole conversation. Once his parents closed the door, he sat up in bed, only to wince in pain from the throbbing of his bandaged ear, collapsing back onto the pillow. Staring at the ceiling, he felt betrayed by Raatra, who had used him to get to the Federation. He was even more upset that his parents would now be watching him like a hawk due to everything that had happened. He vowed to himself that he would never let this happen again, and once he healed, he would become more focused and train harder.
