Stygian Stígandr - also known as Stian (a Siderian male; a horse sized big cat) watching over the outer rims of his territory. From this summit he can see the fjords, mountains, forests, tundras and even the ocean laying at his feet. His name means wanderer, and that is what he is at heart.
He is not often 'home' in his territory in the Fjordlands, above the Arctic Circle, but when he is, he takes his time to enjoy it...Then he can feel a brief moment of serenity and freedom in his otherwise turbulent and hard life as General of the Fjordland Force (a large group of Siderians who fight for the freedom of Siderian kind in a land land without the invasion of apes with guns).
Stian started up this force and was the General until he died at an age of 79 years old (which is 60 in human years). During these years he had achieved a lot, but he felt that it was never enough. He had brought these independent Siderian souls together and make them fight as one. That is a rare thing for Siderian kind...maybe it never happened before to this scale. Stian had become a living legend; somebody who made the impossible possible, somebody who never gave up the fight, despite the fact that humans had shot him several times, humiliated him and killed his daughter and my others whom he loved.
He had achieved a lot with the Fjordland Force but Siderians still suffered a lot at the hands of humans. Also in the Fjordlands...He knew this battle for his own pride, his own freedom, his own kind, and all life forms he respected from the deepest of his soul, was an impossible battle to win. He knew that his goals were unachievable...but trauma left him with no other option than to fight until the bitter end. It was a life-long heavy burden for him and he had to embrace these brief peaceful moments where he could look over the mountains...and watch over the beautiful land.
Again - this drawing is rather blue - but this is what the Polar Night looks like at a latitude of nearly 70 degrees North. Around the winter solstice it does not get lighter than this and the only daylight you get is a few hours of this dawn-dusk like blue light...see here all the photos has made at my place in Tromsø (69,4 degrees North) around the winter solstice https://lapis-lazuri.deviantart.com.....eneries-Norway
Art, Siderian species and character by me. Don't copy and/or use my art without my permission. Don’t use the appearance of Siderians to represent some other character or species; they are who they are and they will not represent someone else.
