Arrested for Debt (with apologies to William Hogarth)
A word with this fellow. Has a notion that gaming and whoring pay for themselves. Well, I have a text shall teach him better.
An scene from daily life in Triskellian. First version of an illustration for Ironclaw: Squaring the Circle, a book as gorgeous as it is monumental, and containing much finer artwork than this (glances at chrisgoodwin).
Obviously indebted (ho ho) to Hogarth's Rake's Progress.
These are my first draft colours. I prefer these on screen, but unfortunately they turn to sludge if you try to print them. I went back to the drawing board.

We're the first (maybe second) generation presented with the problem... Light generated by a screen is different, and more flexible, than light reflecting from a coloured surface.
It raises my respect for some traditional painters that they can nonetheless make their paintings so luminous.
