TRANSCRIPT
He raised both his arms, then glowing chains sprouted from his hands, mounting them to the landscape. Then, the landscape began to warp and distort. It was like that Echo we encountered at the start of our journey here.
I was initially confused as to why he did this, but then it clicked. By distorting the landscape in this way, we no longer had the cover of the high-ground. We were exposed, no matter where we went.
Lily tried landing a shot on the wielder, but he shielded himself against it. Then, he locked on to her, raised his hand, then a massive energy blast fired towards Lily. She managed to dash out of there just in time, but he never lost sight of her.
The charge on the cannon was almost done. I was readying the shot when he was focused on Lily, but he took notice of me. He dashed towards me, faster than I was even capable of and swatted away the cannon. He then grabbed me, slamming me to the ground.
I lost grip of the energy cannon as I landed, and his momentum dragged me across the rocky floor.
