Opening his eyes, the red igwulf blink blearily ahead. Pushing himself up he again heard the loud rumble that stirred him from his slumber. It was time to eat again. Rubbing over the pudge of what was once a previous meal, he made his way across the grassy plains. Having just woken up, and hungry to boot, he wasn't quite ready to go hunting. Luckily there just so happened to be another Igwulf nearby, one whom he had frequently and quite easily made a meal of before. Soon enough, a blue shape was visible over the hillside, lounging atop a small rock, fast asleep. Slowly the red igwulf crept his way over towards the blue one, being very careful to be silent. His stomach rumbling in anticipation, he got down on all fours, preparing the pounce that would secure his meal for the day. Just as he leap, he saw the blue igwulf sit up. Just as quickly as the red had pounced, the blue had rolled off the rock, causing the red to flop down onto hard stone instead of his next meal. After having the wind knocked out of him, he tried to get up, but was pushed back down by a blue paw on his chest. Staring straight ahead, his gaze was met by an open maw, coming down over his muzzle. He struggled against the blue predator, attempting to throw him off, but he found his strength failing, as his arms were being pinned down. His face surrounded by green pulsating flesh, all he could do was stare ahead as the walls pushed and pulled, dragging him down further into the damp warm confines of the blue igwulf. A few squirms and struggles were given, but in the end they proved fruitless, as the red igwulf found himself drawn into the soft green chamber, his tail being the last of him left outside, was rapidly joining him in his new found prison. Pushing against the tight green walls, trying to settle in, he could feel his host stretching, laying back down on top of his now distended belly. Sitting there in the dark confines of the blue, he couldn't help but grin a little. He had eaten this particular igwulf so many times. He's earned this one time, he thought to himself Settling back and curling up, listening to the the rhythmic beating echoing through this chamber, the red igwulf slowly drifted back off to sleep.
This is the first time I've shaded a picture in a long time, and it was satisfying to do it again. Likewise with Frost-wulf there. So yeah, I guess even Frost can have a predatory side every now and then. Nine times of of Ten though, Reed is still going to be the one doing the nomming.

I demand images of the next nine times in a row to confirm this theory.
Pretty nice, Frost. :3
Two things: your lack of practice with shading shows. It's a nice enough attempt, but there are bits and pieces that just look strange in relation to the rest. Practice, practice~...
Second, Reed seems kind of on the small side here, as do his paws for even his pictured size.
It is cool to see you drawing like you have been lately again, though. The silhouette cutaway is pretty neat too, and the story adds a nice layer to how the image settles in the mind. The end of it makes me smile. All considered on this picture, I will grant that you deserve this meal. G'jorb. c:
