It's a new banner, and it's bringing us the first member of a whole new squad. Presenting, Nell, a member of the Breakthrough squad, a group of Nikkes who excel at punishing, bloody-minded assault. Charging Raptures with concentrated, withering firepower, Breakthrough are ideal for disrupting and shattering enemy formations, and gaining ground... however, these reckless tactics have led to their team having a shockingly high attrition rate, and every member has been rebuilt many times. This fact means that Breakthrough is often assigned to missions with other squads, ensuring there's always someone to recover them after the battle.


And just like that, I felt the need to insert Nell into Nikke. I've been playing the game for a little while now, and it is spectacular. I'm not even joking! I was curious, and the jiggle physics made my neurons fire, so I decided to give it a try... now, Nikke is ranked amongst my favourite games. And not just mobile games, I mean across all platforms. Turns out the butt-jiggle game has so much substance and storytelling that I'm now strapped in fully. It's even made me cry! Actual tears!
Goddamn, I love Nikke.
I really enjoyed working on this piece (though admittedly, this one is mostly composited and edited together from actual in-game screen shots), and giving Nell a new outfit is always a treat. And in line with a favourite design trend on many Nikkes, I've given Nell a few freckles. Gotta love some freckles!
