Nell is a member of the Breakthrough squad, Elysion's dedicated assault team. Toting punishing and sustained firepower, the group act as a living bulldozer; known for charging Rapture formations, recklessly punching behind enemy lines to reek havoc and gain ground - usually sustaining devastating wounds in the process. However, their extra reinforced skulls ensure that their brains remain safe... or at least, it's kept them alive so far.

Nell understands that she is not invincible, and that one of these days, death might actually stick. For this reason, Nell tries to live in the moment, enjoying her life, having fun and making the most of her time. She knows that one day, there will be no recovering her - having experienced that horror when the squad lost their former leader. And so, she holds every moment precious, whether she's partying, having fun with her squad, or just sitting by the fountain in the park. Additionally, since meeting the Commander - or 'pretty boy' as she calls him - she's done her best to make as many fun memories with him as possible.
But beneath her fun-loving, laid-back, and carefree demeanour, Nell is scared. She says she's at peace with her inevitable end, but underneath it all, Nell doesn't want to die...

As stated in the sister picture, this piece was a joy to work on. I love Nikke and I love Nell, and now that the twain have met, I am very, very happy. I think this picture marks a slight improvement in my work too, which makes me even happier!
