A nicely designed gryphon from ADOPT_PLANET (Adopt_Planet artist: _Makikar_ (som_fish)).
I was in the mood for two types of characters recently... a noodle dragon and a gryphon. Let's start with the first of two gryphon character acquisitions (hopefully I'll have time to post the other tomorrow); the noodles will have to wait, but they're in progress. I've been looking for a gryphon for awhile - I found a few previously, but they just haven't clicked with me. Queue my gryphon search, and I snagged a couple. This bad boy is from ADOPT_PLANET, and I really like his color scheme. Bright colors, with a hint of blue. I think what did it for me was that portrait between the two full body poses - that serious, "don't mess with me" look. One thing I've struggled with for a number of characters are outfits; this one came with a nice outfit, too. With a nod to his bright colors, named him Sunquill. He might let you call him Sunny, if he likes you.. otherwise, you might see his not so sunny disposition calling him that.
