Sally! she's a living, breathing video game protagonist. by which i mean she exists in the real world, but follows all the rules and logic of video games, having HP and stats, and inventory, and a whole menu system she uses to access them in the form of holographic screens.

but how did Sally get like this? well, she started out as a human, and she had never really played a "real" video game before. all she ever got to play were crappy knockoffs and bootleg carts she found at a thrift store. one day, though, she found a copy of a game simply called "Sally Wally". intrigued, she took it home and started playing. the second she created her save file, though, she suddenly blacked out. when she woke up a moment later, she had become a pink, plush rabbit. somehow, Sally had become a part of the very game she was playing! to this day, she hasn't found a way to turn back, but she's no longer interested in that anyway, as she's much happier with her new life of completing quests, gaining experience, and becoming as strong as she can be. you could say her life is like a video game
