Can't imagine how the recoil would be with the piston shortened... Not to mention it's still probably ungodly heavy. XD I'm surprised you didn't put a pistol grip on it, though!

the piston is modified it's not direct but it's a SVD like one and the muzzle break help a bit with recoil as well with the shock absorbers in the polimeric stock... and weight yeah it's high even if it use lighter alloys
